In 2009 Colleen Holmes moved, with her family, from Ireland to Cairns Queensland, she very quickly established her business providing learning and development strategies across Australia and in the wider arena.
She provides facilitation and mentoring to public and private sectors and has assisted with the development and improvement of processes in many sectors including:
Mining, Aviation, Business, Retail, Hospitality, and Employment Agencies to name a few.
An accredited Trainer/Assessor with TAE10 and Certificate IV in Language Literacy & Numeracy, she is a specialist in developing individuals, teams and businesses to achieve.
Colleen has a Diploma in Management and has managed businesses in Australia and in Ireland.
She graduated from the National University of Ireland, where she attained her Education qualification, also attended the Waterford Institute of Technology (Tourism Management) and College of Marketing & Design (Sales & Management).
In Ireland she operated her own Training business as a Consultant / Facilitator for over ten years, prior to this she worked her way from Sales to Management in a large prestigious department store group.
While Retail was her background – she has worked for a wide variety of high profile organisations in Europe and Australia, Colleen found her skills to be easily transferred across a variety of sectors and has now gained credibility in many areas including remote indigenous development here in Australia; she is well travelled and has worked across Australia – including remote Indigenous communities preparing candidates for work in the Mining Resources Sector.
